How do I get to Ennis?

International students who visit Ireland arrive through either Dublin Airport, Cork Airport or Shannon Airport which are served by a number of airlines, including Aer Lingus, Air France, Alitalia, British Airways, Iberia, KLM, Lufthansa, Ryanair and Swiss International Airlines.

Arriving at Dublin Airport

Arriving at Dublin airport: There is a regular bus service every hour from Dublin Airport to Ennis with Dublin Coach. There is also a bus from Dublin City to Ennis. The Dublin Coach website is

There are also public buses through Bus Eireann ( and trains through Irish Rail ( from Dublin Heuston Station to Ennis. There is a regular bus connection between Dublin Airport and Heuston station.

Arriving at Cork Airport

Arriving at Cork Airport: There is a bus from Cork airport to the Cork Bus Station where you can get a connection to Ennis. There are buses running from Cork City to Ennis every hour from 07.25 to 18.25 through Bus Eireann.
Arriving at Shannon Airport

Arriving at Shannon Airport: Shannon Airport is only 30 minutes from Ennis and there is a regular public bus service from Shannon Airport to the Ennis bus station.

Meeting Service For Junior Students

For Junior Students there is a special meeting service available at Dublin Airport, plus a return service when leaving. Please contact us for further details.

Junior students can be collected by their host family or an approved police-vetted driver. This is available at Shannon and Cork Airports on any date at any time, provided you have included your arrival information when booking your Junior Course.
